Clubs represented – consciousness, FAT, the Chinese Culture folks, GTT
We are being presented to about folks asking to have GSC co-sponsor an event about smashing things (Supersmash Bros). Want $250 for prize money for their event, which is a tournament of people playing videogames. Got the word out well, expect attendance of 250 people. 173 have heads up ahead of time. We discuss whether this is part of our mission – whether we want to support prize money, or something more concrete. Powerpoint! We were razzled and dazzled?
Decision - $50 to food, and we ask for fliers.
The Importance of Being Earnest is in Silver 703 this Friday Saturday Sunday at 8.30. Email gtt@gallatinstudent.com to reserve a ticket ahead of time. 7 dollar tickets.
First Chinese culture meeting two weeks ago, very successful. Another meeting to a Uigher restaurant in the future.
FAT will be tasting water after cookies and coloring

Constitution Committee – eboard is on this, cleaning it up and becoming realistic

Senior thesis – Kate Fritz leading proposal for an seniors essay and an honors track.

Suggestion for a GSC webcast. Funding from Gallatin CLI, to get things together and funded. Start doing regular production. Gallatin web videos – promotion through different Gallatin emails. Erin suggests putting up ‘pictures’ of the gallatin student council – face to face communication.
