4:24PM – Alexandra announced winners of Club Fair raffle and budget report. Everyone has submitted their budget, but not everyone will get the amount their asking for, but there will be lots of co-sponsoring and contingency funding, so no worries.
4:27PM – Committee Reports:
1) Constitution Review – contact Sam G or Bailey to join, first meeting will be next week during GSC next week meeting
2) All-U Games: Vote on lego or Viking design – legos win. We need help with spirit and banner. Money raised is going to Lisa Goldberg foundation
3) Concentration Connections – Emma’s update on what’s going on. Please talk it up. It’s a good event, so people should come.
4) Gallaserve – Gordon’s update including the mayor’s office/community service event on the way March 8 in Shorin, Kimmel. Possible food service event in April. Grants through Gallaserve for clubs that want to plan community service events. *Sidenote: talk to Matt Nolin about website stuff.
5) Alumni Relations – Sydney’s update: we’re still in the baby stages
6) Best Fortnight Ever – Julio: we’re meeting after the meeting today. Subcommittee is letting each club plan their own things, but will help with booking, promotion, and will request budget proposals to merge into one to request funding.

FYI: John Sexton will be returning to work on Monday. Lisa Goldberg’s memorial will be on Feb 25 at 1PM. Moment of Silence. Commencement is officially in Washington Sqaure Park. Next academic year will be changed to give a fall break, but classes will still be held the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. EVP Mike Alfano will chair a classroom space study and report back at a later date. Housing assignments will now be based upon gender identity, rather than legal sex. The senate academic affairs committee is starting to look at university wide advising. The public affairs committee in conjunction with the office of government relations is looking in a holistic fashion to see what can be done about rats in WSP. Responsibilty campaign has kicked off and will result in grafitti removal, removal of posters from all poles and lampposts around campus and residential education “good neighbor” initiatives. VIP Day will now become Earth Week and is from April 15th to April 21st. NYU is starting a community impact study. The deans are looking into creating a much more diverse faculty. All-U Games’ funds raised will go to the Lisa Goldberg Scholarship fund. President’s Service Award nominations are due Feb 15th and can be downloaded from www.nyu.edu/src. Branch Campuses are moving forward in Paris and the Middle East. The NYU Capital Campaign just hit the $2 billion mark, and we are now allowing alumni to designate their small donations specifically to financial aid.
